A low volume plan can allow you to recover effectively from a certain amount of training. consistency is so contextual, and new athletes can fall into that trap. When i reduced my volume and took more rest, i was faster than other people. I feel like with em a pandemic and lock downs too, a lot of people themselves having a lot more time to suddenly jumpinto high volume. If in that situation, doing 12, 13, 14 ours a week, you'll end up faster one year later,. and you'll have more fun, and you'll stay on the sport longer. U never get that where you overtrain. And your life may bring stress circumstances that simply don't allow
