What's the Difference Between Finals and Regular Season Basketball?

First half of last night's game was pretty uneven, pretty sluggish at times. Then the third quarter starts, and the basket ball just really, really picks up. Do you perk up on at court side when that happens? Do you get more excited? No doubt.
