The Fordist Family Wage
The fordes family wage was a version of the mal bred winner wage ideology, which hasa much longer history. It goes back to the nineteenth century labor movement. The basic idea is that the mal worker should be able to earn a so called living wage and benefit from all kinds of social insurance rights. In certain countries, like in britain, tho set up the hierarchical set up in the fact of married women's dependence on men.
