Keats tried to cure himself of his love sickness for Fanny. But also he got put on a lot of fad diets by his doctor, who shall I say, did not have his best address. So it was hard because when you read his writing, he seemed to really love his food. And yet he just had to eat all of this really bland stuff. Doctors at the time were just so bad. They bled him way too much. Is any more bleeding good? "I guess it might have helped some conditions, but I can't think of any which would have been helped"
