Yellen: Technical Specificity Is Really Important
I think that like technical specificity comes in different forms. We do see the consequences of not knowing how things work where some of the wealthiest, most powerful venture capitalists in the world are having a meltdown because they have learned what fractional reserve banking is. But I also think understanding the mechanics of how a thing works is also comes in different ways and can be more general. And one of my favorite parts of your book is where you explain in quite detail through, you know, and you know, throughout the book, a metaphor for how to think about the work that algorithms are doing. It really caught me off guard when you made that move and then expanded on it in a later chapter. So
