Social psychology in particular, got a bad rap, and some other areas of the social sciences. But those fields are pretty conscious now of the problem, and they are reforming. The cancer research reproducibility project tried to replicate 50 different papers but couldn't even begin to replicate one because there wasn't enough detail for anyone to reproduce what they were doing. And maybe that's one reason we're not advancing in cancer as much as we should, cause we're really not considering everything in the space possibilities,. Because there are some incentives here that are a little outed ato kilter. It may well be different if you ask an insider from the world of alsheimers or medical science
