The Importance of Printing Money
Modern monetary theory espouses government printing of money. The idea is that to pay its bills, the government could just simply print money and it kind of brushes under the rug any issues having to do with resulting inflation. A good example would be what if there were a religion that as one of its tenants said there should be no freedom of speech? This gets us to some very strange territory in the United States.
