Short-term rental insurance is more expensive than my regular home insurance policy. You may as well go cancel it because they are not protecting you if they find out you are doing short-term rentals. If you suffer a loss at your home, the adjuster could come in and go, Oh, is it short-term rental guests who is at the property when this happened? There's no coverage.
