Greeks have more forty degrees plus events than they used to for the same reason that we're having more heat waves than we used to, which is global warming. And no doubt calcutta will be smashing its records in due course as well. Because all of us are going to see no more of these generally hotter events, which previously were very rare, becoming much more normal. We'll have to change our life styles and our behaviours and structure our economies to be able to cope with these changes.
