The Effects of Cholesterol on Stroke
We have 10 times the amount in the United States of the ischemic or embolic stroke caused by eating high cholesterol foods and saturated fat. Eating a diet with more bacon and cheese and cholesterol in it or whatever you're reading to produce more atherosclerosis thickens the blood vessels in the brain. It's still the salt that caused the stroke on a diet that was more plant-based. And if you didn't have the salt, you wouldn't have had a hemorrhagic stroke.
