Taking Pictures of Doughnuts

We took a picture of the black hole in the middle of our galaxy. It was big news, and it was a huge endeavor. They used this vento an telescope, which is actually a network of telescopes around the earth. These things are not optical telescopes, you'e write. They are radio telescopes. And then when a message arrives from somewhere really, really far away, it like, washes over the surface of the earth,. And then, as you say, do abunch a map to reconstruct what must have been sending you this picture, right?
