The Sack of Constantinople

The Pillars of Acre were actually taken from the Church of St. Polyuchtus. The Paladur Oro, the altarpiece seems to have been taken from the Comnennian Church at the Pantocrato. Thousands of smaller items were pilfered in the sack of the city. We're going to explore this loss on multiple levels in our next episode.
