We Have a Kind of Consumer Mentality

Our culture doesn't have anything very substantial to offer in terms of true understanding or lasting peace and happiness. We have, as you say, a kind of consumer mentality. You know, the more you have, the happyer you will be. Many people hat the extent of he despair and sorrow in our culture comes because we have, the younger generations have inherited th the fruit of materialism. And this, for many people, leads to despair, and in a few cases, even more extreme. But but it leads to despair to drugs, to suicide and often to violence.
