Why God Limits the Effects of Sin?

In order for there to be genuine free choice on moral issues, the consequences have to follow from the decisions. According to the bible, god does limit the effects of sin because if he didn't, we would have totally destroyed ourselves by now here. God provided structures in society to keep us from destroying ourselves. These are called, in english, the orders of creation.
