The Pay Gap: A Pervasive Problem
There's a lot of talk about gender wage gap. Is it real? Shaka, do you think that's a real thing? 100% it's real. It's not even an opinion. And we've actually shown for female physicians over a projected 40 year career. They can lose up to $2 million in their career. Women are often allocated to what Dr. Julie Silver refers to as citizenship tasks. The work that is usually dedicated or allocated to women is not compensated. A paper just came out on the amount of time women spend with patients because they feel more communicators.
