Is Rate Reset Preferential Shares Right for You?
I really like preferred shares personally I've been adding it's ZPR to my portfolio for my Canadian listeners it holds preferred shares in primarily energy stocks and Canadian banks. The dividend payment increases and benefits as interest rates rise so in this ETF you benefit when the five-year government of Canada bond yield rises. It just helps serve as a portfolio hedge against rising rates which is nice in this environment.
