Did Jean Wolf's Writings Influence the Assassination Movie?

I'm surprised people haven't really talked about that. I guess these are very focused on Jean Wolf, these discussions. Most of the time, Wolf enthusiasts are interested in books that might have gone into Jean Wolf's writing as opposed to works that might have been influenced by Jean Wolf's writings. So that it could be that although you do get a lot of talk about the annihilation movie that, you know, whether it was heavily inspired by Jean Wolf. But Vandermeer has come right out and said he didn't quite intend it, but who knows what, oh, shoot, the director. Alex Garland. Who knows what he did in that too?
