I Think It's a Really Bad Way to Run a Discipline
I think it's weird and sad that if you want to read galileo or darwin in the university, you actually have to go to a literature department or a history department to do so. So i would instantly, if i could wave a wand, i would instantly change all the science departments to include history of science and philosophy of science in the departments themselves. Now, the fact that they 're not taught there means thei're being taught elsewhere, if they're beng taught at all.
