The Difference Between Ethics and Decency

I first came across your writings it went in my own early interest in vegetarianism and then veganism. I've I still have this sort of confusion around the difference between ethics and decency because like there are these incredibly decent people but they're eating meat or having dairy. There's not really a dialogue that I knew how to have that didn't feel like I was being an accusatory. It's actually pretty amazing when you think of some of the people who lived and wrote in the slave era without criticizing them that they could have such a blind spot.
