How I Switched Between Games
Natasha got into go in 1999 so way back I learned it and then actually for a whole year I played no chess at all and just played go. She was doing go problem books and go strategy sort of all the time before she started playing shogi with DeepMind's Matthew Sadler. The pair were both complete beginners really but he said he would play some shogi games with me to get them used to each other. Then on last year 2022 I played in the European shogi championship and we both improved really really fast. We wrote game changer and game changer was about alpha zero and alpha zero had learnt chess go and shogi and learnt them all to superhuman level
