Republican Candidate Bets on the Economy and National Security

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who's trailing Donald Trump by 30 points in many national primary match up, continues to try to run to the right of Trump on these social issues like abortion and LGBTQ rights. This week, DeSantis' Rapid Response Team reposted a video on Twitter attacking Trump for formally expressing support for the LGBTQ community. The video was criticized even by Republicans and has since been taken down. Doug Bergham is betting that there is a lane for a Republican candidate that is solely focused on the economy and national security rather than on what he calls anti-wokeness.
