The Last Frontier of Theory
Quantum gravity is in some sense the final frontier of theoretical physics trying to combine general relativity and quantum mechanics. It's great if you discover a new law of nature, but it's even better if you can discover negative one laws of nature. Every conservation law we have comes back from some symmetry of space. We don't need to go there.
