The Importance of Fiscal Stimulus in the Recovery
Jesus: Did we need the additional fiscal stimulus in 2021 and additional monetary support to get the robust recovery we had? If you look at real GDP, for example, it's pretty much back on trend or it's near potential real GDP. We didn't have any kind of like a level effect after the great financial crisis. Jesus: My impression is that we overdid it. I'm relatively proud of having said that in real time, that we were overdoing it.
