The Effect of a Public Figure's Article on Genetic Testing Rates

The article was one of the most viewed articles in the new york times that year. We saw a pretty stantial and immediate effect on genetic testing rates following the publication of the article. Our work did show that there was still a big cost with all this testing, but we don't know if the increase testing actually identified more high rist women who had the mutation.
