I know the process requires some work and some skills but it's not something that can be overcome. Once you have it, I mean, you have to run it once a year. So yes, it's lower and it will always be lower. You'll never be up whenever you do a back testWhenever you do something using selection bias, you're always going to achieve a better result than what is practically possible through actual live implementation. The validated track record of a fund manager is so critically important rather than using statistical metrics from a back test.
