The Catechism's Warning on Spiritism
The catechism treats spiritism in a section titled Divination and Magic. In paragraph 2115, it says that God can reveal the future to prophets and saints. Then in paragraph 2116, it describes different forms of divination. And what they all have in common is that they are falsely supposed to reveal the future.
