Thromboelastography
When we look at standard laboratory testing, we're basically looking at factor activity and a supernatant of plasma tested at 37 degrees. All the cells involved in whole blood clotting like platelets activated white cells are all discarded when we send blood down for lab testing. And so that's what these tests are. They're analyses of whole blood clotts.
