I tried to build the game to encourage players to go deep first into the story. I wanted them to go through the whole game and then revisit stuff. And that's why we structured it like there's a mission of 10 levels, then you go back and optimize. The optimization. People desire to go deep. Not advance at all and go deep. There are clearly levels that feel like, oh, the character designed them for me.
