Credit Card Companies Selling Credit Card Data That They Don't Have the Legal Right to Sell Us
Mike would tell us stories about how, you know, they SAC would even employ people to go check out shopping stores and see how things were selling at different stores or parking lots. The credit card companies early on were selling credit card data that they didn't have the legal right to sell us. And we had a rule that we wouldn't pay somebody else to do indirectly some approach to research that we wouldn’t do directly ourselves. So I think we were one of the early buyers of it.
