Preparing a Puppy
At 12 weeks old, your puppy is starting to look and act more like a dog. It's now time to expose them to as many experiences as possible. But it's important to keep the environment controlled and safe. Between eight and 12 weeks, puppies are specifically vulnerable to diseases. Check with your vet to get on a vaccine schedule and begin socializing your new family member early. Remember, a new pet is a commitment. You're going to care for a dog for 15 years or more.
