We Have a Strong Economy, but You Can't Just Forget That
According to the new york times and just about every newspaper that covered the g t p that came out, the economy is great. It's just that pesky trade deficit. If it wasn't for that trade deficit, we would have had a really strong economy. Because trade deficits subtract from g d p. Now trade surpluses will they add to g d p but we don't have a surplus. We have a record deficit. And so that means a record subtraction from our g t p. Say what? So the us. Economy shrinking is actually mass ing a broader recovery. The economy is really strong. But you can't see the strength because it's hidden behind this weak
