Monday Thursday - A Day of Highest Importance
mondi comes from the latin word mondatum, where we get mandate or commandment from. It's because it was on thursday of holy week that jesus gave his disciples a new commandment. And so it's named after a very famous passage in john, chapter 13, verses 34, 35. So, utterly said as that should give it a day of supreme importance,. anticipating where this week was going, as well as sort of expressing the spirit of the heart that should be most important in all jesus followers.
