I think Cesar does a really interesting job of sort of pushing back against this traditional understanding. He says fascism is the end point of capitalism, not an occasional thing that capitalism can slip into in moments of crises. I also think it's worth stating that this view of fascism is probably useful for thinking about kind of the rise of the fascist movement in the United States.
