Crowdsourcing platform called Tom Nod allowed people to search satellite images for plane debris. The idea was that you would try and find bits of debris or anything that was out of the ordinary, then report back to Tom Nod. I'm wondering how likely is it that anyone can see something 10,000 feet below the surface of the ocean from a satellite image? And I think there was a lot of people that were really interested in the Tom Nod platform and what they were finding.
