How Do You Write a Novel?
Bine is such an unique novel, and seems to be a book that found its form through character. And i'm just wanting to know a little bit more about how you arrived at this. When did it become clear to you that this was the case? Like, did you come up with the idea that she was writing in bits and scraps on the backs of pieces of paper first, and then the novel finds its form as an outgrowth of that? Or was the novel kind of unfolding on the page in this manner, and then you sort of found that plot convention, or that piece of the plot to make it all kind of click?
