Conspiracy Theories and Power Dynamics

This chapter examines the synthesis of conspiracy theories with intersectional feminism and critical race theory, exploring their contribution to or challenge of hegemonic institutions and the status quo. It discusses the prevalence of conspiracy theories across different demographics and highlights their use by those in power to consolidate authority. The chapter also raises questions about the oppressive tendencies of conspiracy theories and their potential role in calling attention to power and oppression.
