The Truth and Champions

I like miserable chord sequences and I work with people repetitively because they know what it is that make me feel. There's memorable guitar hooks on this album like the truth and champions and the youngster amongst others. Do you think much about kind of those guitar hooks and riffs when you write? Absolutely. On my first album back to Bedlam I was recording with Tom Rothrock out in America living with Carrie Fisher's house in her cabin, so there's always something going on just to scratch your mind. You know, people with genius minds can be distracted by lots of things around them. Not just deep.
