The Importance of Dining Etiquette
Margaret Viser was famous for saying it doesn't matter what fork you use it matters that you use a fork or something. I started to think about the dinner party experience and being a host of others and ritualizing the role of sharing food with your community took dining etiquette and table manners into this whole other place for me. There's much bigger question space that I feel like it's joined the rest of the etiquette discussion in my mind. It's like, boundaries are breaking down and like our powers combined, makes an amazing experience.
