I remember being in class when I was in college, not being able to pay attention if there was a woman in my class that I found attractive. And again, I never would do anything about it. But just the fact that my mind just couldn't even focus on anything else. It's interesting and you note it, but you don't want to go down the explicit or the conscious route because it's actually not going to meet your needs.
