Mabel Todd edited a collection of Emily Dickinson's letters, and then right after that, yet another volume of poems. Her ownership and claim upon the work of Emily Dickinson started to rile her actual family quite a bit. She was so angry, also an anger inherited from her mother and the rest of the family, that her aunt's reputation and persona had been so changed from what it had been.
