Energy Efficiency Is a Foe to Climate Change

Energy efficiency is a charade being used to keep relentless economic growth viewed as a net good. It plays into the myth that wi'll be able to mitigate, adapt and survive the effects of climate change with little to no change to our current life styles. What we need to do is decouple human well being from energy consumption and consumption in general. This needs to happen at such a scale that advocating for individual changes in life style will never be but that is still a significant part of the puzzle.
