Is There a Right Way to Celebrate?
Sara: I think there's probably not a right way to celebrate. What i really loved about learning about the history of getting this holiday passed at a federal level with seeing those quotes where people were saying, this isn't just about one person. This is symbolic of a larger movement in our ongoing commitment to it. But i also think, you know, this man deserves to be commemorated because his legacy is very expansive. There is still so much to read and take in and think about as we commemorate his life.
