The Importance of Machine Learning

When I was studying philosophy of mind in the 1990s, this was a notion, this was an idea. But starting from 2012 moving onward, there were many practical applications of this idea. And now this idea is the basis of what today we call machine learning. Many human artists are very upset because the data sets upon which these algorithms were trained contain images of their own work. They're pushing back against it but far more people are excited at the prospect of being able to create these sorts of images.
