The Authorship Other Than Shakespeare
There are a number of potential candidates for the authorship Other Than Shakespeare. The aristocrat Edward Devere, the 17th Earl of Oxford and Sir Francis Bacon tend to get most discussion in authorship societies. Christopher Marlowe still has a few high-profile supporters,. But we can set aside Marlowe pretty easily as he died in 1593 - well before most of Shakespeare's plays were written.
