The Limits of Summer of Code

There is now an appetite for people to talk about this and even funders are looking to work out what language people use. I think it's a case of us as a community learning to think in terms of public goods, which we're increasingly building upon. It's just that we probably don't have the money yet but if there was a super project to raise the money for then everyone would jump on the bandwagon.
