What Do You Miss Out On?

Nicodemus is the first to construct a version of faith that stays on the periphery, turning what paul called foolishnessto the world into quite a respectable dance. He was the first, but he's not the last. There is a version of fol ing jesus that delights in the claims and enjoys the view, but does not risk becoming like a child. And tragically, then it stops short of the spirit of the living god. That's what you miss out on. You miss out on faith. It costs you faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
