The Science of Attachment
The term attachment is often used to describe a quality of obsession and insecurity that has nothing to do with the science of attachment. Securely attached babies and children are in a flow that works for them, not checking boxes out of some fear of not being perfect. So maybe instead of working so hard to create this so-called perfect life for our kids, we'd all be better off if we fought for a life we can enjoy.
