The Sabbath and the Ten Commandments

Sabbath observance officially formalized in Exodus 20, which lists the 10 commandments. They had to store up enough manna to last them through the Sabbath because God was not going to be providing it beyond the day that they were gathering. The truths of the 10 commandments still carry over in principle, in theological principle to Christians today.
