The Good and the Bad of the Restore Conference

The restore conference started in 2019 as a way to bring together people who were disconnected from the church. The first one was almost, I'd say 75, 80% Chicago area people; now there are people from 44 states and two provinces of Canada. "I got to actually hug some of them that I had been to come friends with," she said about meeting her former classmates online. She says hearing experts like Dr. Diane Langberg or Scott McKnight's books came out just months after having left their church.
