The Role of Social Roles in Boys and Girls
Social learning theory is the argument that boys and girls learn to behave in sex specific ways. Because they receive either explicit or implicit information from the social environment, it's argued. And therefore you adhere to these roles. But there is some place for social roles, but its influence is really overstated, says psychologist David Frum.
